you can use a hex editor to view the files.
btw, the only way i know to add single monsters to a map is not yet found by me.
but you can add whole mob-files. does this help you in any way?

It is realy hard to add by using a hex editor , but i suggest you to start viewing mobs with hex editor.Study hard!!!
Right now you may want to add monsters by using scripts , it is not relaly hard

I think that it is something like this
AddUnitToServer( NameUnitMap : string , NameUnitRes : string , NameUnitControl : string , x : float , y : float , z : float )|
but i heard that it is a global variable and that you cannot use it in console

this command works, but it creates only one new npc. i cant tell the use of this but its really strange. what do you need an npc for on the map outside???

Oh ye there is one solution how to add another monster on your map but it wont be easy.
First you clean the mob with the hex editor(delete all monsters except the one you wish to be added)
then you sve this mob with another name eg z23q13.mob .Then you start the game (multi) and with this command @AddMob(0,"z23q13",0) you will add unit that was left unclean.
PS this procedure will requre a lot of knowledge and hard work

I want to change the skin of my character so that i can play as a orc , dragon banshee etc.

1- I have changed into an orc, a dragon, a boar, a tiget, an ogre.
Problem: Only orc has colors and u can buy stuff for him (using buy, sell)
2- Register to the forum! no1 can pm u anything if u dont!
3- Come back here and i will happily tell u the commands.
P.S. With the new MQ Quest mod u can easily add some monsters...but HOW
if it is possible will there ever be an interactive map making program?
