In the River and the Islands in Gipath, there is a group of lizards trapped in a pit in the goblins' habitat. Are they associated with any quest?
By the way, does any lizard in the Middle Mountains talk to you and give you any quest?

Also no, since there is no dialogue zone in the Middle Mountains.
