Altering Quests

How do u alter quests. i herd jet has a program that does that
so some1 help me im an :a..: in hex editor cause i dont get a thing
so jet can u send me the program

if not

then can any1 tell me how to use hex editor

i know im an :a..: asking such stuff

you open a file in hex

files to open are found in maps folder any mq files not mob

the file will have the text of the quest skip past this and go to the bottom and you will find the word exp twice a top set and a bottom it is the bottom you need to change

click the first dot afet the word exp and you will see that numbers on the left become highlighted

you now need to open base converter found within hex and byte order should be intel and data type is generally unasigned short unless dealing with large quest rewards

type the amount of exp that you want the quest to be worth in the decimal side...and the hex side will automatically produce a number/letters this is the number you must replace the underlined set of numbers with save and test :roll:
